Can you believe August is almost over?!
It’s literally blowing my mind how fast this month went by. Its not even like we did anything big or special, it was actually a super calm month for us. Which is a good thing, because we have so much going on in the months to come! Between a lot of big trips, holidays, and football games, I think we’re going to miss being home and taking it easy.
Either way, here is a little recap of August for me. I would normally be doing this post on the last on the month, but I have something a little better to share for Monday! 🙂

Astros Game w/ the cutie. It was our first time to an Astros game together!! On our way to the game, he asks, like he always does, “do you have your I.D.?”, and I am over here like, “duhhhhh, why would you even ask that??”. Well, after making him walk all the way around the stadium to find Saint Arnold’s, we get to the front, and I realized forgot my I.D….. whoops? I love you, love me? Either way, we had a blast!

Thred Up is a really cool online resale shop! They except a lot more brands than any place like Plato’s Closet or Urban Exchange and actually give you good value for your money. Be looking out for a review on them!

Date night at Artisan’s, if you haven’t been, go!! Its the most fun little french restaurant in Houston! It’s super fancy, very intimate, and there is an open kitchen concept where you can see all the action first hand!
The best shirt ever!! No joke. Since I bought it, I have worn it an embarrassingly amount. The brand is Naked Zebra, I bought it from Bevello & it is so comfortable! This was take right before going to Table on Post Oak for our first time, and I highly recommend it! It has an up scale vibe with a super fun atmosphere!
Y’all, I am obsessed with these. Like I never take them off & they are under $100!!! Like, dying. I can’t wait to dress them up with black skinny jeans and my black leather jacket.
Girls Night at Cle
I have never really been about Houston’s whole “club” scene, but you guys, this new club in Midtown would make you think you’re in Miami. It’s a freaking BLAST. Just make sure you dress up, because they are picky about attire when letting people in.
After our girls night, we made it on Houston Snaps during Brunch the next day!!! I shouldn’t have been as pumped about this as I was, but oh well, it was exciting!

Early morning Saturday run. I used to love running, but I have kind of replaced it with spin recently. I am trying to get back into it, so I am making myself run for a hour outside once a week!

Mr. Bentley on National Dog Day, he is probably one of the only dogs in the world who likes baths. I usually get him groomed, but at Unleashed, by Petco, you can do it yourself for $10! It’s definitely worth it!
