Here’s the deal…
I really want to be showing you guys fall sweaters, layering outfits, scarves, hats & etc. But… the weather just isn’t there yet. It’s a weird time in Houston, ya know??
It’s in the 50’s in mornings and then by lunch time we’re hitting the high 80’s. Can you say bipolar?? Anyways… this dress (or cough, cough tunic) has been the best purchase I have made in a while. It’s kind of perfect for the weather right now. It keeps me warm when the temperatures drop, and I don’t die of a heat stroke when they temperatures rise. It’s also so comfy! I just realized that this isn’t exactly a dress (opps? Sorry, I’m a shorty) but if it’s supposed to be a tunic, then it’s the longest tunic I have ever owned. It’s moments like these that make me understand why models have to be 5’8 and above.
I’ve worn it to dinner with my family, and dates with Colton. I even wear it to work but switch out the booties for these pumps. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments from strangers on it asking where I bought it from, so obviously I had to share!
Oh and we can’t forget these booties! First off I love them, but I want to warn you guys that if you purchase them, beware that the first 2-3 times you wear them, you will get a blister! Now they are fine, and I wear them not stop, but those first few times I definitely had to keep bandaids in my purse.
But I mean, beauty is pain, right?? Or I guess in this case shoes!
