Hey Houston, are you ready to RODEO?
I, for one, am so excited! I absolutely love rodeo season. But when you’re from Houston, the question is, who doesn’t!? When the rodeo comes to town, it’s as if the whole city gets put on pause, and we’re all perfectly okay with it!
For those of you who know me well, you know that I didn’t exactly group up in the inner loop – lol. But none-the-less, one rodeo trend that I absolutely cannot stand, is the rodeo bling trend. Like the thought of bling in any way shape or form, makes me cringe….this is why I love this outfit so much. It’s western, but it also fits my style.
The trend I will be rocking this whole rodeo season, will definitely be the double buckle western belt trend. I love it so much that I’ll probably rock it even after rodeo season is over. Plus, this belt was less than $40!! So #winning.
I think that western wear gets a bad rep sometimes, but when it’s done right, it’s chic as ever. And trust me, I’ve had my shares of rodeo fashion faux pas, so I know what I’m talking about.
Any who, I don’t know about you guys, but we have a full weekend of rodeo cook off ahead of us! Will you be there? If so, look for me! I’ll most likely be wearing my double buckle western belt.
