More and more recently, I have been getting a lot of questions concerning my hair. Where I get it done, what products I use, how I curl my hair, how often I wash it and etc.

I know a lot of people swear by only washing their hair once or twice a week, but I am not one of those people. Having greasy hair is a true pet peeve of mine. As in, I literally cannot stand it and since I do workout so often, rarely washing my hair is not an option. I would say that I wash my hair every other day. I love the feeling and look of fresh, clean hair. Which is why I love the following shampoos and conditioners so much. They make my hair soft and shiny as well as giving it that certain glow.

The following are all of my favorites!

Pai ShauYou know those times when your hair is constantly greasy and no matter what you do or how many times you wash it, it just always feels gross? It happens to me all the time and is usually the result of a chemical build up in your hair. I promise when I say that this brand has been awesome for fixing this. I bought it over 4th of July weekend on a fluke, after forgetting my Moroccan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner. I hate using hotel products, so I ran down to the hotels salon to pick something up different up. While there, one of the ladies convinced me to try Pai Shau. After the first wash, I was hooked! I love it because it doesn’t have any oil in it, but instead uses tea extracts! You can find the shampoo here & the conditioner here

Moroccan Oil: I was introduced to Moroccan Oil my freshman year at Baylor and immediately felt like I had been missing out of the best shampoo & conditioner combo of all time. Up until this time, I was just using store brands like Pantene Prov and what not, but the moment I tried Moroccan Oil, my hair changed for the better. Softer & shinier.  I use the Hydrating Shampoo and the Hydrating Conditioner. Although since it is a hydrating shampoo, if your hair is prone to get greasy, I wouldn’t use this one everyday. Although if you have dry to normal hair, then this is a great option

Redken: In my mind, this is the perfect every day shampoo & conditioner combo for normal hair. It makes my hair super shiny and is sold at almost any store that holds beauty products. As of right now, this is the combo I use almost daily! While I do normally like to switch up my brands, this one has been the one I have been gravitating to the most recently.

Oribe: The perfect purple shampoo & conditioner combo that every blonde needs in their life. It keeps my highlights looking fresh and takes the brassiness out of your hair without actually making it look purple lol. I use this about once or twice a week. Especially before shoots or parties. It’s also a little but on the pricer side, which is another reason I do not use it everyday. I suggest using both the shampoo and conditioner for the best results.

It’s a 10: I started using this shampoo and conditioner after I had been using their miracle leave in product (AMAZING) for about  year. When it comes to this combo, I use it like a hair treatment. I love it because I literally feel the shampoo cleaning my hair, as well as replenishing . It truly repairs my hair. It’s sulfate free, and for a shampoo & conditioner, it oddly has a lot of vitamins in it! I only use this product once a week though, because if I used it any more than that, my hair would get greasy super fast.

What are your favorite shampoos & conditioners??

xo,

Lauren
