Oh what a party! I told you all Monday I would be sharing this post next week, but I went ahead and wanted to share it today.
As you guys know, this past Sunday I co-hosted a bridal event, at Baanou, in the River Oaks District, called Fashionably Ever After. It was a very casual showcase of all Bridal fashion, local vendors and more. For the event, I teamed up with Baanou, Modern Luxury Houston Brides Magazine and Kathryn from Wed to White (You have to check out her Mexico wedding, here!!). We had the most beautiful flower arrangements from Lanson B. Jones & Co. , delicious treats from Petite Sweets, complimentary sparkling cocktails from Mighty Swell, a vast amount of luxurious diamonds from The Vintage Contessa, a DJ & the coolest Flower Wall, by Flower Power Back Drops.
I mean, how beautiful did the event turn out?!? I was literally in awe over the whole thing and the photographs definitely did it justice! I never thought it would be so much fun standing in front of a photo wall, holding a bouquet while taking pictures, but it was! I’m telling ya’ll, I’m not kidding when I say I have the bridal bug – lol!
Maryam (the owner of Baanou) had everyone involved, wearing our favorite bridal pieces from the store. I chose this C/MEO Romper, that she had just gotten in because it was such a show stopper and completely my style. The cut out & cold-shoulder touch was to die for. I literally felt like a million bucks in it.
The event was a blast, but I think my favorite part was helping put the whole thing together. Like, this is the kind of stuff I love. Plus, it’s really cool, because since I am a bride, I was super into all of it! I also loved getting to meet so many new people! Each guest was given a complimentary gift bag full of goodies like Spray Tan gift cards from Bronze Bar, Photography deals and more! It was seriously the most fun I’ve had on a Sunday in a long time! I had readers come, a few of my best friends, my mom and Colton were all there and it really was just great.
