Outfit Details: Cashmere Turtleneck // Blanket Scarf // Vince Booties (Cheaper Option)
As I look back on all of these pictures and I wish I could tell you them story behind them, but I will have to save it for another time lol. This is a look I wore Saturday evening, while in Napa, before heading to our hotels happy hour. Which let me add, is the cutest thing ever. The happy hour is outside, on a patio, surrounded by vineyards. It’s literally just so relaxing. Since I knew it was outside, I wanted to make sure I was warm and comfortable. It can get pretty cold there at night, but this blanket scarf kept me so warm!
Blanket scarves are perfect for this time of year (especially in Texas) because the weather is weird. The mornings are cold, by mid day it’s hot, and the nighttime is pretty chilly, so with a blanket scarf, it is easy to layer and isn’t as heavy as a jacket. I love this one I am wearing because it is just a little bit heavier than your average scarf.
Unlike Texas, Napa is a lot colder, which is why I paired my blanket scarf with a turtleneck! I want to note that this cashmere turtleneck is a steal. Most camel cashmere turtlenecks, can run over $300, but Last Call By Neiman Marcus has this one for only $120 (on sale right now for $75) which is amazing. It’s a staple that will be in your closet for years to come. I can’t even tell you how many times I wore mine last year.
Last night, we celebrated Hannah’s Birthday (she turned 15!) so I am super exhausted today. Being mom for a week, to a 15 year old, is hard work ya’ll – lol but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t enjoying spending so much time with her. Colton and I took her to La Table with a few friends and had such a fun evening!

Wait, one more thing!!! Nordstrom’s is having their Fall Clearance Sale right now and it’s killer. Like, I think all of the items that are on sale are way better than the ones from their Anniversary sale… I mean a log of Burberry, Tory Burch and more.
