Good Morning!!!

My goodness, my goodness. What a whirlwind this past week and a half has been. I mean seriously, absolutely nuts!

From my work conference in San Diego, to the Super Bowl being in Houston this weekend, I literally have not stopped! I don’t know how to explain it, but this past week in Houston has been absolutely amazing. The energy throughout the city was indescribable!

Any who, how was everyone’s weekend?? I feel like I haven’t really been able to talk to ya’ll recently. Everything has just been so crazy around here. Hints, why this post is going up so late. As much fun as this past week has been, I’m so glad the Super Bowl isn’t in Houston every weekend – lol.

I wanted to share this look with you guys today, because this dress would be perfect for a classic and romantic Valentine’s Day look. Very, very ladylike. A mixture between Kate Middleton and Rachel Parcel from Pink Peonies. The moment I put it on, I just felt like a lady. Like I instantly felt beautiful. Recently, my closet has been filling up with trendier items, but the truth is, it’s classic dresses like this one that I will continue to wear for years to come. Dresses like this do not go out of style. Like I said, perfect for a sweet Valentine’s Day look!

Since Valentines Day is on a Tuesday, I feel like plans are a little limited. We will probably just have a bottle of wine and cook dinner together! Nothing to fancy, but still romantic. I love it when we turn off the TV, turn on the music and cook. It’s relaxed and there are no distractions. Plus, it actually makes us engage as opposed to just staring at the television – lol.

What are you guys planning for Valentine’s?

xo,

Lauren
