I’m not sure what it is about summer, but it makes me obsessed with pastels. They make me feel bright and relaxed all while giving an effortlessly classy look.
& this outfit particularly has been my go-to all summer. I have worn it to work, I wear it to dinner, I wear it to get drinks with friends, I wear it when I can’t make up my mind on anything else to wear…

I originally wasn’t going to do this post because the photos were kind of a trial shoot after a really long day…. but they I realized that’s why I HAD to post it! The fact that I had worn it all day, came home to take pictures, then went to dinner and still felt put together means a lot.
I also want to mention this clutch. It was a gift from my darling little last summer when she was interning with Elaine Turner here in Houston. Since this clutch is no longer available, I went back to Elaine’s website to see if she had anything similar, but instead, I found something better! This clutch is not only beautiful, but it is apart of Elaine’s campaign gearing up for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of the sales from this campaign are donated to the Cancer Support Community. So basically, it’s a double win with this clutch!
