Welcome Back Cuties!
I’m so excited to finally be sharing all of the photos and details from my baby shower a few weeks ago!! It was truly such a nice day and was something I wasn’t expecting to get (hello COVID), so I’m still just over the moon that we were able to have it and that I didn’t go into labor beforehand lol. My best friend, Laurel really went above and beyond planning it all. Between herself, my mom, and Laurel’s mom, they work their tails off to make my baby shower everything and I couldn’t be more thankful!
I knew before I was ever even pregnant that if I ever had a summer baby, that I would want a lemon themed Baby Shower! Something southern, classic, and timeless.. so that’s what we did and I think it turned out fabulously!! We had to be cautious because of COVID, so it was a small event with only 15 people but was still perfect and I actually loved how intimate it was! Plus, I was so pregnant and miserable, I don’t think I could have hosted a huge event lol. The space we booked is called Thirteen48 Heights and could not recommend it enough! It’s an original (but totally renovated) Historic Heights home and was just absolutely beautiful!! We loved that we could bring all of our own food/alcohol and really make the event ours as opposed to having one at a restaurant.
