First off, thank you all so so so much for your kind words and support on yesterday’s post. I mean wow! The messages I received from everyone were amazing. Thank you!

But now for a lighter note. Let’s talk DIY bar carts.

When I started decorating my apartment last summer, bar carts were on the rage (& still are!) The only problem with them is that the average bar car can rage from $500 – $1000. I don’t know about you guys, but thats not in my budget.

So what did I do? A DIY Bar Cart.

How I did it

I bought this cart from Ikea for $29, then I bought 3 cans of this gold spray paint &&& went to painting! I won’t lie, it was a huge pain in the ass because I am not the craftiest person in the world, but it was SO worth it not spending the $$$$.

The best part?? Decorating it of course!

Marshall’s was my best friend in this department. I was able to pick up the wine sign, my lemon meringue candle, cocktail napkins, cocktail book and gold serving tray all from Marshall’s. Then the “Saturday Morning Are Made From Bruch” I made myself!

We actually picked up a new wine holder from there Sunday and I are going to paint it hopefully this weekend! We needed just a leeeetle bit more storage.

Honestly, I bet you could get everything from Marshall’s (besides the cart & paint), but just incase, I linked some of my particular items below.

xo,

Lauren
