Hi guys!!:)

I know everyone has heard this a million times, but breakfast is in deed THE MOST important meal of the day. By eating breakfast, it allows your metabolism to get a kick start, and provides you with nutrients and energy you need for your day. I don’t know about you guys, but I love breakfast, so this is pretty much a win-win for me.

But this doesn’t mean that having pancakes, and donuts first thing in the morning is good for you. The whole point is to have a nutrient full breakfast, one that makes your body happy 🙂

When it comes to breakfast though, for probably the past two years, I have had oatmeal every.single.day. No jokes, I’m all about my fiber. But recently I have been switching it up with this super yummy green smoothie.

Don’t get me wrong, I still love my oatmeal (I’ll eventually share my favorite way to make it!) but I needed to change it up a little bit. A little change never hurt anybody, right?

And I promise, you can’t even taste the spinach!

Here is the recipe.

MORNING GREEN PROTEIN SMOOTHIE

Ingredients

1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

1 cup Baby Spinach

1/2 Frozen Banana

2 scoops PB2

1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 dash Cinnamon

1/2 cup Ice Cubes

Directions

Blend, Blend, Blend!

My little tip, I always leave the blender on for a couple minutes while I pack up my purse and turn off the lights before heading out. This way it’s super creamy and doesn’t have random pieces of ice!
