Drink More Water In Seconds

In the past few weeks, I have noticed I haven’t been drinking as much water as usual. Why? I don’t know, but my body has definitely noticed. My skin has been dryer, I’ve felt more lethargic, and I just haven’t been on my A game. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me for the longest time, until Colton pointed out that I hadn’t been drinking as much water as usual.

I don’t know if I have just been so busy that I have been forgetting too, but my body has definitely been retaliating. Water is vital ya’ll. Which sounds like a common sense / basic statement,  but you should be drinking half of your body weight in water everyday. So if you weigh 130 lbs, then you should be drinking about 68 oz ( 4 water bottles) of water a day.

By drinking the right amount of water you will increase your energy level, flush out toxins, improve your skin, boost immune your system, boosts your metabolism, plus so much more!

So if you’re like me and you’re trying to step your water game up, here are some easy tips.

HOW TO DRINK MORE WATER

Put It By Your Bed

Before you go to bed, put a big glass of water on your bed side table. That way you will be reminded first thing in the morning to drink that glass of water before you even get out of bed.

Buy A LARGE Reusable Water Bottle

Plastic water bottles are out and reusable ones are totally in. This one is my absolute favorite. It holds 25 oz of water which is perfect because I do not have to constantly keep refilling it. It also keeps my water cold all day and is super cute.

Infuse It!

If you hate drinking regular water (I’m talking to you dad) try infusing it with fruit! I love to infuse my water with strawberries and mint! Let it sit over night in the fridge in a big jug to have to drink the next day! It’s incredibly refreshing and makes basic water taste so much better!

Green Tea Over Coffee

Did you know that coffee is a diarrhetic and dehydrates you? Yep! Which means for every cup of coffee, you should have an extra glass of water. Green Tea is a great alternative to get your caffeine fix and gets double the points for being a natural antioxidant as well as a natural fat burner.

Eat Your Water

You don’t just have to drink your water, you can eat it too! Raw vegetables like cucumbers and fruits like watermelon are extremely dense in water, so you can stay hydrated just buy eating your fruits and veggies! Here is a list of other fruits and veggies that are filled with water!
