So here is one thing I learned while planning this post. On the average day I look like a walking American flag. All that I wear is blue or white with red lipstick -lol. I guess no one could ever say that I’m not patriotic!
At one point, I wasn’t even sure if I was going to post anything…. because well, I always dress like this lol! But I changed my mind when I stopped by Anthropologie this past week and saw this top. I had nothing like it, and loved the red in it! Even though I usually dress the part, I knew this extra pop of red would make my outfit stand out.
I love this outfit because no matter what your 4th of July plans are, it will be perfect for it! Beach? Perfect, ditch the wedges for sandals. Lake? Perfect. Outdoor barbecue? Even more perfect! In general, Anthropologie has you covered with all of your 4th of July attire. I linked more of my favorites below! Gosh, just writing this is making me get excited for the holiday! I seriously love 4th of July, you’ll see more of my love for it next week 🙂 Literally we might as well just call next week #merica.
Any who, we have quite the weekend coming up! We’re having our engagement party Saturday evening and have a lot of friends coming in from out of town for it! I honestly feel like it’s more of a mini wedding than an engagement party lol, but I’m okay with that because I am just really excited to celebrate with friends!
