If you regularly follow this blog, or any of my social media, then you know that I spent this past weekend in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. What you may not know, is that I went with 12 of my best friends, of whom I’ve known for over 10 years. It was a vacation that we had been planning for months and I cannot believe it came and went to fast!!
THURSDAY
We all arrived Thursday around noon and headed straight to our Villa.
The last time I was in Cabo, was literally Spring Break of my Senior Year at Baylor, so I was so excited to be back! Especially because we were with such a huge group! Since there was so many of us, we decided to rent a house in Pedgregal, as opposed to getting a hotel. My sweetest friend Haley, who set up the whole trip, found this house for us and it couldn’t have been more perfect!
We all had our own rooms, bathrooms, beautiful views and this incredible infinity pool.
Literally breathtaking.

The first day we got there, we all went into major vacation mode. When we arrived to the house, they had margaritas waiting for us at the door and we were ready to get the party started. We had the sweetest in-house guys take care of everything for us at the house and they really went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.
We spent the day by the pool drinking, getting settled in and taking in the fact that we were actually there!

That night, we headed to The Office for dinner to start the vacation off right. If you ever go to Cabo, The Office is definitely a must! It has an incredibly fun atmosphere and is right on the beach! If you go in busy season, I highly recommend making a reservation!

That next morning, we woke up, had breakfast and headed straight out to our yacht day. You’ll see very fast that this was by far everyones favorite part of the trip. If you are going to Cabo anytime soon, I recommend doing a boat trip at least once! They have so many ranging from yacht days like this one, to sunset cruises on a Catamaran.
For our group, we did a private yacht for four hours and just cruised along the coast of Mexico all day long. Our staff on the boat were literally THE best and always made sure we had a drink in our hands. We were all definitely feeling the yacht life lol.

Saturday morning, we were all a little slow moving…to say the least! We had breakfast and lounged by the pool most of the day before heading to the beach. The mornings in Cabo are literally so peaceful so it’s easy to get caught up in taking your time before actually making moves.

We then made our way to Mango Deck and spent the rest of the day on the beach drinking coronas and eating fresh cut mango on a stick. If you’re planning a trip to Mexico, then make sure Mango Deck is on your list. It is kind of THE beach day party stop and should absolutely be on your list!
That night, we compromised with the boys and went to a restaurant on the beach, but also had views of the TVs because the Texans were playing the Patriots lol. Which lucky for them, this restaurant had the best ceviche!
The next morning, we all packed up our things, headed to the airport and said good bye to Cabo.
One thing that I realized on this trip, is that I am very thankful for every single on of these people. I mean, it wasn’t the trip that made me realize it, but the trip really made me think about it a lot.
The truth is, despite how much fun we all had, this trip was definitely filled with a million life talks and heart to hearts.
We have all seen the good, the bad and the ugly in each other over the past 10 years but that hasn’t seem to make a dent in our friendship. I think it’s very rare to have friendships like these, and I for one am so thankful.
If you guys have any questions on Cabo, on where to stay or what to do, shoot me and email! Okay, that’s it for now! I promise I won’t over load you guys with any more Cabo pictures! Have a great weekend 🙂
xo,
Lauren
