Right after graduating from college, Colton and I definitely got into a routine of participating in our fare share of Sunday Funday’s. We had just graduated, moved back to Houston and for the first time in like, ever, we didn’t have to spend our Sunday’s studying. We would go to boozy brunches, and sit on the patio all day. Were they fun? Umm, yes!! But we also quickly realized that they are not realistic and were killing our work week. Like there is nothing worse than starting your Monday with a slight hangover.
Needless to say, we quickly realized that they just are not worth it. Instead, I have decided that relaxing and preparing for the week ahead is way more enjoyable. It also makes me feel way less anxious. I like to go to the grocery store, run a few errands, tidy up the apartment and rest.
You know? Just like really decompress.
This past Sunday, Colton and I woke up early to do our registry, went to a super cute lunch and then spent the afternoon stuffing our Save the Dates into envelopes and catching up on some of our favorite shows. In the past two weeks, the wedding has actually started to feel real. It has also been really fun sharing these moments with Colton. Even as little as stuffing envelopes, on the couch. The whole process has oddly brought us closer together and he was such a trooper when registering! He surprisingly had a lot of opinions on all of the glassware we chose lol. Idk, we just really had a good time!
Since we are getting closer and closer to the wedding and summer in general, I have been stocking up on little white dresses, just like this one! From brunches, to Bridal Showers or for just a casual spring day outfit, dresses like this one are perfect! Plus you can never have enough little white dresses! Light weight, comfortable and cute! I for one love the cold shoulder! It’s a casual dress ($13) but it also looks just a little bit nicer then most!
Anyways, so far this week is looking nice. My Dads Birthday is Tuesday, and my best friend is coming into town this weekend so I am really looking forward to the both of those!
