Easter is right around the corner (literally less than 10 days away lol) and will be here before we know it. Personally, Easter has always been one of my favorite holidays. Mainly because it doesn’t carry the stress that the other holidays seems to bring along with them. Even as a kid I loved Easter. Around age 6, my best friend Bradley and I literally convinced our selves that we in fact saw the Easter bunny one Easter morning and that he was real. We embarrassingly kept this gig up until we were at least 12, but at the same time, it made Easter that much more fun for us.
While I’m not looking for the Easter bunny these days (lol) I still enjoy the holiday. Recently we have been spending it with Colton’s family and going to church with them. I also love the sermons on Easter way more than any other holiday. They are my absolute favorite and always give me the chills – but in a good way!
Anyways, enough about my odd obsession with Easter – lets talk about this blue lace dress! Let me say, I do genuinely love this dress. I love the color, I adore the lace and the cold shoulder gives it the perfect touch. When I ordered this dress, my original plan was to wear it to the wedding we went to last weekend, but when it arrived, it was a little bit too long on me. Colton and I quickly decided it was too long for the look I wanted for the wedding, but that it would be perfect for Easter! Normally, when it comes to holidays like Easter, I prefer not to show my shoulders, but because this dress is so ladylike, I do not mind at all! I went ahead and paired my dress with these heels because I have worn them on Easter for the past two years and are the perfect spring pump. They are Manolo Blahniks that I bought on sale a few years ago and were the best find! Unfortunately, since they are so old, they are sold out in most sizes, so to dress this look up similarly, I suggest pairing with light pink pumps (love these!)! I linked a few options below 🙂
