White Denim Jacket – The Perfect Spring Time Look

Good Morning & Happy Monday Loves!

How was everyone’s weekend? Ours went by incredibly way too quickly! Friday we stayed in and binge watched Shameless (opps!). Saturday, I went to kickboxing with my sweet friend Dede, had brunch with Colton at Bebidas and then spent the remainder of the day at the pool. Sunday was spent running errands and then that evening, hosting Colton’s parents over for dinner to see the new apartment and to talk all wedding things!

Really fast, before I get into how amazing this little white denim jacket is, I have to give my mom major kudos for taking these photos. She knew I needed to get shots of my outfits while we were in Napa and she was such a trooper taking all of my photos. Plus, I think she did an amazing job! What do you guys think?

Anyways, on to this little white denim jacket. Ya’ll. This jacket is everything. The moment I saw it, I knew I wanted to bring it on the Napa trip with me. The daytime in Napa can be very warm but the nights tend to get super chilly. So accessories like this white denim jacket are perfect! In Houston I do not see myself wearing it as much because it gets so hot here, but when we travel to places like Destin this summer, I know it is going to be perfect for the chilly nights that they have there as well! For a demin jacket, the material is very soft and is surprising very light. Like I said, the moment I saw it I knew it was coming home with me. This little white denim jacket is from Banana Republic and comes in right under $100, which is a steal! I paired it with this really lovely light blue dress for the trip. I loved how romantic the dress was and how  super comfortable it is. 

Funny story – if you notice, the dress has a little tie on it. Well, while I was in the dressing room trying it on, the string to the dress had come out of the hole and I had the hardest time finding it! I sat in there for about 15 minutes trying to make it work and I just could not figure it out. I finally called the sales lady in and I was like “Please help me! I know I am making this more difficult than it should be!” lol. So needless to say, once we figured it out, it was all okay -ha.

This week, my Dad is going out of town for work so Hannah J (my little sister) will be staying with us for majority of the week. I keep saying she is my “little sister” because that’s what she is, but the older she gets (and the taller!) I feel weird calling her my little sister. She feels more like my friend most of the time. But so yeah, she will be staying with us and then Colton leaves for a Bachelor party Thursday! 

Really quickly, before I end today’s post, I wanted to run something by you all. I was reading an article yesterday that talked about the different styles of blogging. There was the type of blogging, like mine, where you write and publish a blog post everyday and it was compared to the type of blogging where you only write maybe 3x times a week or less. In this article, it said how most readers (aka – you guys) prefer this slower type of blogging, where I do not post as much. I’m really interested to know if this is true. Do you guys like me posting everyday, or would you rather me post only 3x a week or less. I would love to know yall’s answers! 

I just thought it was interesting, so I I thought I would run it by you all!
