Good Morning and Happy Friday Loves!!

My apologies for not posting yesterday! What can I say, I was enjoying my time in Charleston just a little too much! I can’t wait to share the whole trip with you guys!

 Funny story though!

Before heading out for this trip, I knew that I wanted a fun summer straw bag to take with me. In general, I had been on the hunt for one, but I just wasn’t sure which one I wanted to purchase for the season. Between this trip, a beach trip in June and my Bachelorette party in August, a straw bag has been at the top of my wish list.

I’m sure you guys have seen this other purse all over Instagram recently and while I think it is BEAUTIFUL, I am super over seeing it. I didn’t want to purchase a bag that every girl had, so I went on a hunt for a different one. I wanted to find a summer bag that was equally as cute but I also wanted it to be super efficient and at a better price point. So when I found this bag, I was so happy!

I was like “Heck yeah, this purse is perfect! No other blogger has it and it is totally unique – go me!!” Well….. haha I show up in Charleston, we check into our hotel, change our outfits to go explore the city and as we were walking out the door, Dede and I noticed we were wearing the exact same bag! So all week, we were total twins. It was so funny! So much for being unique lol! I mean, we took turns wearing it so we weren’t totally matching but we still thought it was so funny.  All I can say is that at least it reassured me that I wasn’t the only one who saw this bag and thought it was too cute to pass up! I love Dede’s style, so it honestly made me 10x more happier with my purchase

The straw woven purse is from J. Crew and originally came with two little poms on it, but Dede and I both took our poms off so that it could go with more outfits! It has a card holder inside and the strap makes it perfect for wearing while exploring and being out and about. I am so bad with purses that I have to carry in my hand. That’s why all of my purses either have to have a strap or handle can fit on my shoulder. Everything else is just totally inefficient.

That’s why I love this bag so much! it goes with everything and it just in general so stinking cute.
