The biggest sale of the year, is coming this week and I want you all to be prepared for it. I hate that this post sounds super sell-y but it’s just because this sale really is a big deal and I do not want you guys to miss out on it. Keep reading for all of the details surrounding the sale!
WHY THIS SALE IMPORTANT
Basically, this sale is where Nordstrom’s puts all of their future hottest fall items on sale for a short period of time. Unlike most sales, these are all brand new items that have not hit the stores yes. Items that never go on sale, go on sale and the designer discounts are crazy. While it’s summer time and you’re probably not thinking of buying sweaters, come September, you will be glad you did!
I have bought majority of my favorite items from this sale and truly look forward to it every year. It is just so good. You can check out last years post to kind of see what to expect!

HOW TO BECOME A CARD HOLDER
Since I am a Nordstrom’s Card Holder (You can be one too!) I will be able to start shopping this sale the very first day it starts, July 13. Becoming a card holder is super easy, takes five seconds to apply and you’re allowed to start using it online immediately.
While there is a Nordstrom’s Credit Card Option, there is also a Nordstrom’s Debit Card option, which is what I have! Basically, my Nordstrom’s Card is linked directly to my bank account and every time I use my card at check out, I earn points back on what I spend. Once you start accumulating points, Nordstrom’s will start to send you “Nordstrom Notes” that you can use on any future purchase. That’s how I bought my Philip Lim Bag!
So basically, if you want to shop the sale on the first day, apply here so that you can have full access to it!
HOW TO SHOP THE SALE
Personally, my favorite way to shop this sale is online. This is because by shopping online you can actually see everything the sale has to offer all at one time. Also because items tend to sell out crazy fast. Even the first day of this sale a lot of the top items will start to sell out! Normally, I am the type of person that likes to go in store to try things on but because this sale is so big, I don’t really want to wait to go in store. Plus, I know that most of the items I want will be online and that in store will only carry so much. Nordstrom’s also does free returns, so if something doesn’t fit, it isn’t a hassle to return it!
FOLLOW ALONG
Thursday I will be up at the crack of dawn (literally like 1:00 a.m.) going through everything on the sale and picking out everything I believe is worth your time. That way on the first day of the sale, you know exactly what I would pick if I were you! Then throughout the sale, you can follow me on Instagram and Snapchat where I will actually go to Nordstrom’s for a try on session to show you how things are fitting and look in person. I’ll also share with you everything I personally purchase, as well as my top picks for my gentlemen out there!
