Happy Friday Loves! We made it to the weekend again!
The other day I was getting ready in my bathroom, when Colton walked by to get something out of his drawer. He paused for a second, step backward and asked “Are you talking to yourself?”. Puzzled, I stared at him and said “Idk? Am I? I mean I am writing post in my head right now? Was I saying it out loud (lol?)”. He just sat there and stared at me like I was crazy and all I could think of was “Oh my gosh Lauren, Do you do this a lot? In public around people?!?” So embarrassing!! People probably think I am insane-ha! So if you see me around and it appears that I am talking to myself, just take it for granted that I am writing a post in my head and that I’m not crazy š
In the mean time I’ll go ahead and get myself a notebook!
Anyways, I wanted to take today to be a little short and sweet with you guys and share my absolute favorite look of the summer. I mean hands down, each piece in this post have been my go-to’s all summer long. This top is seriously the softest most comfortable top I have every worn and I want it in at least three more colors (It comes in like 8). These shorts have been a favorite since this post. The seer sucker screams summertime and are so comfortable. Then these sandals have been amazing (they also oddly make my feet look tan? Is that weird?), these earrings have been on repeat since Charleston and this white tote has been everything. From the beach, to the lake, pool, lunch and to the airport, it has been my favorite purse all summer! I’m telling you, the whole outfit has been on some serious repeat!
This weekend Colton and I will be at our “Pre-Marital Retreat”. I put that in quotations because we will still be in Houston technically, but it will literally be all weekend long. Instead of going to multiple classes every Sunday for a few months, we decided to knock it all out in one weekend. I know some may think the idea of these classes sounds horrible but I’m oddly looking forward to them. I’ll let you guys know Monday how it goes!
