Hello Hello!
How was everyone’s weekend? I want to say that ours was super exciting and crazy but to be honest, it was the complete opposite. We were honestly so lame all weekend – lol.
I mean we went to dinner with friends Friday and had a pretty boozy lunch on Sunday, but other than that we were in bed before 11:30 and did things around the apartment during the day. I desperately needed a weekend to decompress and get my energy back – which is exactly what I got! I just didn’t have the energy to do anything else.
It’s funny how on Friday I was so against sharing fall looks and then here I am today kind of showing you all a fall look. Except, I don’t super consider this outfit too fall like because it has actually been on constant repeat this summer. It may be notoriously hot outside, but indoors, it has been freezing because everyone has their AC blasting. Especially at my office, I swear it is Antarctica up in there. I bought this cardigan during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and let me tell you guys, it was one of the best things I purchased. I told you all in this post that gray is the big color this season and I am sticking to my word. You’re going to see gray cardigans everywhere in the next upcoming months.
Since it is so hot out, I have been wearing the all white combo but while I’m inside at work, at a restaurant or anywhere that it’s freezing, I have had my cardigan close bye. This one is perfect because it is super soft, it’s light weight and is a really great length. This one is also really great and is a little bit less expensive. I wore this outfit while in San Francisco last month which was totally appropriate because it was actually in the 60’s there! The whole look is just a really great one for transitioning into the cooler months.
Also, just to give you guys an update, I did officially decide to go to Fashion Week! I’m not going to go for very long, but I am going to go… At first, I was very against going for the mere fact that it is so close to the wedding but recently I have just been getting signs telling me I needed to be there. To meet with brands, make contacts and etc. Plus, that’s the weekend of Colton’s Bachelor Party, so it’s not like we would be getting things done for the wedding anyway! It seems like the right decision and I am hoping that it is. Either way, I’m pretty excited.
Anywho, to give you guys a little sneak peek at what to expect this week, I will be sharing a hair post, my bachelorette party, labor day looks and more!
Have a great start to your week!
xo,
Lauren
