Hello Guys!
Things are slowly (very slowly) getting back to normal here in Houston.
There is still ways to go. The city will not be back to normal for months to come but with that being said, the water has started to go down in many areas and busineses across the city (those not horribly affected) are starting to open their doors. The roads by my office cleared up Wednesday so I was able to make it into the office yesterday for the first time all week.
I know I keep saying this over and over, but thank you so much for everyone who has reached out and has been praying for my family and everyone affected by Harvey. I’ll touch more on everything next week – but truly you guys are angels. I know I haven’t exactly been posting this week, so it really means a lot you guys understanding. I havent forgtton about my non-Texas readers I promise! This is actually the longest I have gone without posting in over two years, which is so werid.
With everything going on though, I honestly forgot it was Labor Day Weekend this weekend! I will personally most likely be volunteering and helping my mom clean up at her house but for all of you not affected, it looks like it is going to be a gorgeous Labor Day Weekend. I’m hoping that if I work all weekend, I’ll be able to actually rest a little bit on Monday.
