Good Morning!
How was everyone’s weekend?? I can officially say that I did literally nothing all weekend and it was magical. Okay, that was a little bit of an exaggeration. I didn’t literally do nothing all weekend lol, but I definitely took it easy.
I was just home. We didn’t go and stay out late but we still slept in. We worked out, did a lot of cleaning, started on our Thank You cards, I finally unpacked from Chicago and we watched a lot of Stranger Things. I told ya’ll that was on my agenda for the weekend on Friday lol.
We have been on a constant go and I needed this weekend to take a serious chill pill and that’s exactly what I did. My body was in dire need of it.
Since Thanksgiving is officially next week, I figured it was the perfect time to share a Thanksgiving Day outfit with you guys! I will say though, Thanksgiving in Texas is always a tricky one. Like sometimes it’s nice and cool and other times its 85 degrees outside. Same thing with Christmas….. It’s literally the worst lol. If it is even the least bit cool on Thanksgiving this year though, then this will probably be my outfit of choice! Mainly for the comfort and color!
I first wore this sweater while in Chicago last weekend and ya’ll, I cannot say enough good things about it. First off, it’s super oversized so size down – but I love how chunky and oversized it is. I am wearing a xs!! Next, it’s so incredibly comfortable. Like I could live in it. Then lastly, the color is beautiful. It is the most beautiful and striking fall colored sweater I have ever owned. I am literally so obsessed.
This week, Colton and I will be hosting our very first Friendsgiving and I am kind of super pumped about it. This is also Colton’s first time roasting a turkey….so that part is a little nerve-racking but I have full faith in his abilities lol. We’ve been pinning all things turkey related – ha!
If you want to have this sweater by Thanksgiving for your Thanksgiving Day Outfit, then I would order is asap so that it comes in on time! Just a heads up – lol. I feel like I always wait and then end up having to pay extra for shipping. Literally, the worst.
