I am so excited to be sharing this Holiday Style post with you all today! Never in a million years did I think these photos would turn out as wonderful as they did. When Colton and I first decided we wanted to go to Paris, I knew we had to have a photoshoot done. I mean, we were there for four days, it was supposed to be our honeymoon – so why not!
What I wasn’t expecting though, was for it to be 35 degrees and pouring down rain in the middle of it – ha! So please, ignore my hair! When we left our hotel early that morning, I had super volumious bouncy curls and by the end of it and after shooting in the rain for an hour, my hair had seen better days. I remember sitting in our Uber at 7:30 a.m., all dressed up, looking out the window and watching the rain fall. Trying to stay as postive as possible. Because ya’ll, it wasn’t just lightly sprinkingly…. I’m talking pouring.
None-the-less and despite the rain, the photos turned out perfect and I love the romantic vibe the rain had on the photoshoot. Looking back, I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
I wanted to share our looks with you guys today because if you’re planning your holiday outfits right now, then this is the perfect look for both him and her. Both of our outfits would be seriously so easy to recreate this Holiday season! Plus, pretty much all of our pieces are under $100. This pleated skirt is seriously so gorgeous and flattering for $98. It’s selling out fast so I found more sizes here and then this skirt is seriously identical! This top is identical to the one I am wearing ( my exact one just sold out :/ ) and my earrings are like $12!
Then Colton’s outfit, is a two piece suit set and is priced super well. He loves his jackets and pant pieces more fitted, so when we found this set for such a good price a few months ago, he snatched it! I believe the jacket is $135, the pants are $98 and his scarf was in the $90’s as well. Actually, this scarf would be a perfect gift this Christmas for your beaux! Then this white trim-fit collard shirt has been a favorite of his for at least two years. It’s a solid mens shirt and is perfect for wearing under suit jackets.
I love when Colton gets to make appearances on the blog because he is such a big part of LifetoLauren. He may be behind the scenes most of the time, but it wouldn’t be possible without him. Plus, I may be a little biased but… I think he is pretty cute too 🙂
I hope you have a great rest of your Tuesday!
xo,
Lauren

This is easily my FAVORITE post of yours! Holyyyy cow, yall!! These are stunning. I’m so glad that yall went ahead and scheduled a shoot during your trip. Dancing in the rain is a little symbolic for your outlook on the wedding being postponed. And the pleated skirt? I die.
