Lets talk about something I think we all have a mutual hate for.
Pimples.
I know right? Gross.
If there is one thing I hate in this world, it’s breakouts and pimples. They are the worst and I just don’t understand them.
In my teen years, I never had acne and barely ever broke out. Then I hit 23 and it was like my face finally decided it was my turn.
When I do breakout, I usually only have one or two pop up, but let me tell you, those one or two are red, huge, and gross. I swear they take up the size of my face.
Oh, andddd they always seem to come out to play right before a big event, party or vacation.
Literally, nobody has time for that.
Anyways, right around our ‘wedding time‘ I was breaking out more than ever. It was most likely caused by stress, but none-the-less, it was bad. I was trying everything in the world and nothing was working. I actually think I was making things worse…. that’s until I decided to try one all natural product and my life was changed forever.
Let me introduce you all to the best, all natural spot treatment on the market – Tea Tree Oil.
Tea Tree Oil is amazing for spot treatment because it has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties which help to speed up the healing of blemishes and pimples. Whenever I see a pimple forming, I first cleanse my face and then I’ll just dab a little bit right on it. Then I’ll go to bed and the next morning, BAM – it’s basically gone. Of course, the severity of a pimple comes into play when figuring out how long it will take it to go away, but ya’ll – I swear by this stuff.
It has been life-changing.
You want to make sure you get 100% Tea Tree Oil, which is why I like this brand.
When I first started using it, Colton would complain because it made me “smell like a tree“, but let me tell you, the moment that man had a pimple, he let me put the tea tree oil on it, and it was gone in a day.
Two Ways To Use Tea Tree Oil
- At the first sign of blemishes or pimples.
- Right after correctly popping a pimple.
How To Apply It
- First, cleanse your face before applying.
- Then to apply, pour a few drops of tea tree oil onto a cotton bud (q-tip) and gently dab the tea tree oil onto any pimples or spots.
- Leave on for a few hours, or overnight. The redness and swelling should decrease.
**Please note, while Tea Tree Oil is fantastic for acne spot treatment, it should never use on your entire face. This will cause your face to extremely dry out.**
I’d love to hear if any of you have tried Tea Tree Oil for Spot Treatment before!!
