Happy Wednesday Guys!
Halfway through the week! I cannot believe today is the last day of January. Actually, I can. This has been the longest month in the world for me.
Anyone else?
2017 started out in a whirlwind. This time last year, we had already gone to Cabo for four days, I would have been just finishing up a huge conference in San Diego and anxiously preparing for the Super Bowl.
So far, 2018 has been much slower, but I’m not going to lie, we have really enjoyed being home and spending time in our city. Plus, I took the blog full time, which has been a huge challenge. But don’t let that fool you, it has also been incredibly rewarding.
I don’t know how to explain it, but I have loved having the opportunity to do what I love. Having the time to put all of my effort into this, booking campaigns and just feeling inspired.
So basically, this month has been spent at home, in Houston. Growing the blog, figuring out how to make it work full time and deciding what our next big step is!
I started the year off with some major goals. Physically and mentally!! Cheers to entering February with my goals still in order.

This Wubby Pullover has been the most requested and sought after jacket of the season. It has also been my most worn!! I have never owned a comfier nor warmer pullover in my life.

The first weekend of the New Year was absolutely gorgeous. We had the most amazing spring weather. This particular Saturday evening, I was feeling pretty down about some family stuff, so Colton took me to Tiny’s to sit outside and have a few glasses of wine.
It was exactly what I needed and Bentley loved it too!

At the beginning of the new year, we drove to Austin for a quick 24 hours. Colton had training there and it was my best friends birthday, so we made the trip and it was so fun but also such a tease.
I can’t wait to go back and stay with her longer.

It didn’t just snow once in Houston this season, it snowed twice! This time, the snow stayed on the ground for at least two days! My 8-year-old self would have been so upset that she missed it -lol!
Coat was sold out, but I found it here!

A little snap of the two of us at the Astro’s Diamond Gala After Party. This black romper was the best little thing for a night out with my cutie.

We did the most fun shoot with Neiman Marcus and Lela Rose and I can’t wait to show you more!
I’m not going to lie though… this may be the most expensive dress I have ever worn -lol.

My look for a surprise Birthday Lunch for sweet Taylor at Tiny Boxwoods. There were over 15 of us there and most of the girls I hadn’t seen since Fashion Week, so it was such a treat!

We tried Hello Fresh for two weeks and fell absolutely in love. Seriously, we are hooked! I loved how fresh everything was, how easy it was to follow and just how delicious it really was!
I am thinking about writing a whole post on our experience, so stay tuned!
