My Four Favorite Spring & Summer Lipstick Shades

With spring being in full effect, I figured it was time to share and break down my favorite spring accessory of them all, lipstick. 

It is a very rare day that I’m not wearing any. Even as a kid I would steal my mom’s lipstick and wear it everywhere. I think they bring life to every outfit and can completely change your whole look! They also bring life to your face!

These four shades are my ride and die lip colors. They’re the only ones I will wear during spring/summertime and I cannot imagine not having them in my lipstick bag. 

CHANEL ULTRA WEAR LIP COLOR – DARLING PINK 

Need an everyday lipstick to wear to work? What about a nice neutral shade to wear while out and about running errands? Than this Chanel Ultra Wear Lip Color is the perfect shade for you! It’s a lip stain on one side and a moisturizer/lip gloss on the other! It will last all day long while hydrating your lips at the same time.

It is hands down the best natural lip color! 

YSL ROUGE PUR COUTURE – FUSHIA PINK 

Spring wouldn’t be complete without a bright pink lip! This YSL Lip color has been a go-to shade for me for a little over three years. It definitely takes confidence and I wouldn’t recommend wearing it if you aren’t ready to make a statement because it’s definitely a statement shade!!

I absolutely love this lip color. It’s so fun and brings life to every single outfit. Every time I wear it, I get a million compliments and I swear it completes the look. It’s fun, bright and perfect for spring & summer! 

YSL ROUGE PUR COUTURE – ROUGE TATOUAGE 

When it’s time for spring/summer holidays like Memorial Day and the Fourth of July, there is no better lipstick that YSL’s Mat Lipstick, Rouge Tatouage. When you go for a red, you don’t want to pick a shade that is shiny, you want more of matt. They last longer and are not as abrupt. This shade has been my go-to for years!

I once wore it all day long on a boat during the fourth and I swear it didn’t smudge or fade even the slightest. 

MAC LIPSTICK – CREME CUP 

This shade is my newest addition and has quickly become a favorite. It’s a cross between a nude and a very light pink with a hint of shimmer. It’s the perfect shade for vacation and looks so good with a tan! It has a way of brightening your face instantly.

It’s also the shade I wore in my make up video last summer! It’s also on sale right now, so I am probably going to pick up a few to keep in each one of my purses -lol
