Happy Wednesday Loves! 

We are halfway through the week! I personally feel like this week is flying by so fast, but that may just be me lol. 

As you guys know, I share a lot of outfits here on ze blog. A lot of very specific outfits for specific occasions.

Whether it’s Easter, a vacation outfit or the perfect dress to wear to your Bridal Shower, I’ve got you covered. 

But what about the outfits I wear on a daily basis? Because the truth is, on a day to day basis, I dress very basic.

And not basic as in “white girl basic” lol, merely just casual and comfortable. I don’t wear a ton of jewelry and I am normally very relaxed. Just like this outfit today. If you see me around Houston this spring season, there is a very good chance I will be wearing a variation of this outfit. 

From the Levi denim shorts to my lightweight spring cardigan, every single one of these are a necessity for the season. 

When I saw this cardigan online at Nordstrom’s the other day, I knew that it would for sure be a staple in my closet this season. During this time of year, the evenings always seem to be cooler and I am always notoriously cold, so a cardigan is a necessity for me! 

They are even perfect if you’re going away for a beach vacation. We go to Destin every year and the nights are always chilly so I am always so thankful to have a lightweight cardigan with me! 

Levi’s are another staple in my spring/summer wardrobe. As you guys know, I love my Levi jeans, but my true love started with these Levi shorts. I bought this exact pair when I was 16, at a thrift store and have continued to wear them every season.

Since then, I have continued to buy Levi shorts because I know first hand how long they will last!! 

Just remember to always size up in Levi’s. These shorts are actually two sizes larger than my normal size. 

Then if you are looking for the most comfortable wedge in the world, then I have you covered. These Eileen Fisher wedges are hands down the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I first bought them two years ago, when I went to Europe with Colton’s family. I’ve walked probably over 200,000 steps in them (literally not exaggerating) and I’ve never gotten a blister, nor felt like my feet needed more support. 

They are not the most gorgeous nor trendy wedge in the world, but if you’re a shorty like me and rely on a little bit of height, but also need a comfy heel, then these Eileen Fisher shoes are the way to go! 

Then last but not least, these statement earrings are everything. Not only are they gorgeous, but they are pretty lightweight as well. They would be absolutely perfect for Memorial Day! Plus, I think statement earrings are the most perfect and easiest way to add a little bit of life to any basic outfit!
