Welcome back and I hope you all had a great weekend!
Ours was honestly really great, despite the nasty weather! Friday, we went to see ‘A Star is Born’ and it was absolutely everything! I can’t believe it took us so long to go see it because it really was just such a good movie. Then Saturday we ran a million errands then had friends and family over that night to carve pumpkins, have some wine and catch up. Except… the wine really started flowing and we never got to the actual Pumpkin Carving part – lol. Hopefully, we will do it this week! Then Sunday was just spent cleaning, getting ready for the week and ended at a Doggie Halloween Wine event at Sonoma Wine Bar!
So all around, it was a good weekend in my book!
As we get closer and closer to Halloween, I knew Colton and I needed to make our yearly trip to the Pumpkin Patch to take our family photos with a Mister Bentley. If you’re planning on going to a patch soon, my advice is to not go to one at your local church, on a Sunday, right before 5:00 service lololol.
It was a madhouse!!
None-the-less, I am glad we got our photos! I like looking back on them, seeing how we have changed through the years.
I picked up this plaid cape a few weeks ago and knew it would be perfect for this and would be worn all fall long! I’m absolutely obsessed with it because it’s so lightweight, yet still super cozy and really cute.
When planning family photo outfits, I like us to stay in the same color pallet. You want a little bit of patterns, but not too many because they become overwhelming in the photos. For example, since my outfit has a pattern, Colton chose a solid look but still made sure his sweater had a little bit of texture to it!
