Home for The Holidays

Welcome to my Home for the Holidays Cuties!

I thought I would take a break from the Gift Guides today and give you a little peek inside our home. I swear, if I could keep my Christmas Decorations up all year round, I 100% would. Colton would agree too! There is just something about the lights and the holiday candles that make our little space so cozy and warm.

I’m sure you guys could agree!

Most of my decorations I picked up from Home Goods or Marshalls throughout the years but I tried to tag as much as I could! I’m also really happy with how our Christmas Tree turned out as well!! I think this is the best my little pre-lit tree has ever looked! Since we are in an apartment, an artificial tree works better for our lifestyle, but since we both love the smell of fresh pine, we got a real wreath to hang in our living room above the bar cart!

A Few Tree Decorating Tips

  1. Pick a color palette before you start buying ornaments, ribbon, or any Christmas Tree Decor.
  2. You want to first start decorating your tree with large ribbon. The ribbon should be at least 4 inches wide!
  3. Use Large, Medium and Small Christmas Bulbs. A huge mistake I made in the past was filling the tree with a thousand tiny bulbs. When you use different sizes, it gives the tree more volume and fills up for space.
  4. Make sure your bulbs have different textures. Some of my bulbs are the traditional shiny ones, others are coated in glitters, and some are even made out of cloth and pearls!
  5. Fill in the rest of the tree with your favorite family ornaments!

xo,

Lauren
