Happy Thursday Babes!
We are already 10 days into the New Year and if resolutions aren’t but you’re still wanting to find something to do with your life this January, then I have a few ideas for you!! Whether you choose one thing from this list or decide to try all 10, it’s completely up to you!! But I do challenge you to do at least one!!
10 THINGS TO DO THIS JANUARY
Declutter Your Life
If you follow me on Instagram, then you saw on my stories yesterday that I started watching Marie Condo’s “Tidying Up” show on Netflix and it has left me wanting to declutter and organize my life! I’m two trips to Goodwill in, along with a fully organized dresser and it feels so good!!
Start a New Book
Instead of binge watching shows into the wee hours of the night, try picking up a book instead! I love to read, but became really busy during the Holidays and haven’t picked up a book since November, so I need to find a new one to grab my attention.
Here is a list of 20 books to read this new year.
Find a new Podcast to fall in love with
If you haven’t hopped on the Podcast train yet, then I highly recommend that you do!! I fell in love with Podcasts last year and I don’t see my obsession going anywhere. Find one that makes you laugh, one that you can learn from and one that you can relate too! It’s even better if you can find one that does all three!

Try one healthy meal off Pinterest
Get out of your comfort zone and cook a healthy meal for either you or your family (no need to tell them it’s “healthy” 😉 ). It will make you feel good, your body will thank you for it and hey, you may even discover a new favorite dish!!
Go on one walk with a friend or family member
Get outside and go for a walk with a friend or family member! Too cold where you live? Walk inside on a treadmill! It’s amazing how fast time will go by when you’re just catching up and talking.
Start a gratitudes journal
This is something I actually started doing this year and love! In the morning, write in a journal 5 things that you’re thankful for. They don’t have to be big or different everyday, but just write them down. It only takes 3 minutes and puts the rest of your day into perspective.
Actually start taking a daily vitamin
I highly recommend taking this one!! It has changed my world when it comes to vitamins.
Take the Head Space 10 Day Challenge
If mediation is on your New Years list, but you aren’t sure where to start, then try taking the Head Space (it’s an app!) 10 Day challenge! It’s free, it’s only 5 minutes a day and it really helps to introduce you into the practice of meditation.
Go to a new workout class
Expand your horizons and get out of your comfort zone this year by trying that new workout class you’ve been to nervous to go too! The one I’m dying to try is hot pilates!
Wait 30 minutes before checking your phone in the morning
Instead of waking up in the morning, checking your phone, your emails and scrolling through Instagram, wait 30 minutes before opening it up! This will give your mind clarity first thing in the morning and is said to help with anxiety, happiness and productivity!
