Hello – Hello Welcome Back Guys!
It seriously feels so good to be back home from Tulum. It was a really great and must needed trip for the both of us! We had an incredible time and fell absolutely in love with the area. I’ve had a lot of girls send me questions about our trip (where we stayed//safety//recommendations//etc) and I just wanted to let you know that I will be doing a whole recap of our trip next week!
With that being said, for everyone who is looking to book a trip to Tulum this summer, I want to be completely honest and let you know that the seaweed is AWFUL right now. I’m not even going to try and sugar coat it. I’ve never seen anything like it. The seaweed has been an issue for the area the past three years and gets exceptionally worse during the warmer months (April-September). Thankfully, Tulum is a really beautiful area and we were able to find a ton of clear water at their many cenotes and lagoons but if you are wanting a beautiful/crystal clear water beach, then I suggest booking your trip for anytime between October and March.
Other than that – it was amazing and I can’t wait to go back!! Most of the vacations we take are jam packed with work and weddings, so it was nice to get away without really having an agenda.
Now we’re back though, I’m feeling more inspired than ever! While I was away, I took a lot of time to reflect on the blog and the direction of my platform. I thought a lot about you guys and what ya’ll might want to see more of or less and instead of trying to guess, I decided to just ask you!!
