SHOP MY ORGANIZER
Welcome Back, Babes! I’m SO excited about today’s post.
I originally wasn’t going to do a whole blog post on this, but as I started organizing and setting everything up, I realized that this might be something you all would enjoy! Redoing/Updating my Beauty Product Storage situation is something that I had been wanting to do for a while but I just couldn’t find anything that was right for my space. I needed something big enough to hold all of my products, that wouldn’t take away all of my counter space and didn’t look tacky. I searched high and low on websites like Pinterest for inspiration, but everything I saw was so unrealistic…… So needless to say, when I finally found a solution, I decided it deserved its own post!
VANITY SITUATION BEFORE
It looks so sad, right?
Honestly, though, this isn’t even a blimp into how badly unorganized it was before. I had already started cleaning & organizing before I decided to do a post on this, so these were the only photos I was able to get!
LEFT PHOTO
A picture of my very small, old vanity, that I bought from Home Goods a few years ago! It was a great little vanity during the time, but my makeup and beauty product situation has grown vastly since then and I just all around grew out of it. Not to mention it was actually too small to fit any real beauty products. What you don’t see in this photo was all of the products that I had sitting to the right of my vanity that were too big to fit in it, yes used everyday, so I needed it out in the open. This was anything taller than 1″ and/or anything wider than 3″.
MIDDLE PHOTO
Various products that I like to use but don’t get to use as often as I do the products on top of my counter. Along with old makeup containers that were 95% empty, yet I continued to keep around in fear that “I might just need them one day”.
RIGHT PHOTO
My Favorite Skincare and Hair Products that I use every day! Example: My Cleanser, Serums (day serum) (night serum), Eye Cream, Moisturizers (day) (night), Dry Shampoo, and Hair Spray. While I could have made space for these products under my sink, it was just easiest to have them out in front of me and in plain sight.
VANITY SITUATION AFTER
SHOP THE POST
YA’LL.
This may not look like a lot to you guys but let me tell you…. It’s truly night and day!! If you guys could only see it in person.
I’m seriously so in love with this organizer! I had been wanting to update my previous situation for years, but wasn’t sure how to go about it! As I mentioned above, I had researched high and low for inspiration but could never find a solution right for me. Since I’m in an apartment, that I of course share with my husband, my space is somewhat limited, so I had to keep that in mind!
&&& this Vanity Set/ Makeup Organizer truly beat out all of my expectations. It’s literally so nice and well made. Not cheap nor tacky looking at all!
It comes with four drawers and the top section comes with all of the extra vanity pieces that you see in the photos. The only thing I did extra was take some of the drawers from my old vanity and put them inside the new one to help group/organize some of the drawers even more!
How I Organized It
To my surprise – I was actually able to fit ALL OF my favorite makeup AND skincare products that I use the almost every day in it!
Well…. That’s after I finally ended up getting rid of all my old, empty containers that I was hoarding around. None-the-less, I was shocked that it fit everything I needed it to and still left me with some room.!
Top Shelf
My makeup brushes, everyday makeup products, most used lipsticks, and everyday skincare routine products. I needed to make sure my “most used” were out front and easy to see.
Second Shelf
Lipsticks, Lipstains, Glosses, Chapsticks and etc.
Third Shelf
Bronzers, Blushes, Setting Powders, and Eye Shadow Pallets
Fourth Shelf
“My Second Favorite” Makeup Products that I don’t use every day but still really like and use for different occasions!
Fifth Shelf
Face Masks on Face Masks on Face Masks.
HAIR PRODUCTS
SHOP THE POST
Since I was able to fit all of the skincare products that previously sat on my counter in the new vanity, I only had to find a place for my haircare products!
So I decided to suck it up and make room for them under my sink!
SHOP THE POST
I found an old tray that I had in our storage closet that was thankfully the perfect size for this space and was big enough to not only hold my hair products but all of my favorite self-tanning products as well!
All placed under my sink but still with easy access!!
Any who, that’s it for now!
It’s not the most “revolutionary” organized space but it’s a start!
