Welcome Back Babes!
I hope you all enjoyed the video above! I’m really trying to get better and better and doing videos for you all, but it’s definitely a work in progress!
Videoing editing “ain’t” easy ya’ll lol.
Any who, as of recently, I have really become a fan of my Morning Skincare Routine and all of the products I have been using!! It’s the first time in a long time and that I’ve really been able to see a positive difference in my skin, so I thought I would share it with you!
A few things that I really love about my routine is that it’s not over the top extensive and has a good mixture of high and low priced products!
Below you will find a description of each one!
**Tips for the Order of Skincare Products**
A rule of thumb is to apply the thinest products first and then end with the heaviest.
My Morning Skincare Routine
Step One: Rinse Face with Water Only
I truly believe that in certain situations, less is more. You put so many products on your face the night before that there is really no reason to completely wash them all away the very next morning. Of course, everyone’s skin is different but I have personally seen a major difference in my skin ever since I stopped cleansing in the morning. If dry skin is an issue of yours, I would highly suggest trying this out!
Step Two: Eye Gel Patches
I live and breath for these Peter Thomas Roth Eye Gel Patches! I don’t do this step every single morning, but I do for most and they are a life saver for puffy eyes. If you tend to wake up with dark puffy eyes in the morning, then you will love these patches! They work like a miracle and feel so incredibly good and really help to “wake you eyes” up! **Pro Tip** Store them in the fridge!
Step Three: Vitamin C Serum
This Vitamin C+ Collagen Serum from Dr. Dennis Gross has truly changed my life and is the very first product that I really put on my skin in the mornings. It’s one of the few products that you will actually feel and start to see work immediately. It’s a serum that basically revs up tired looking skin for an immediately radiant complexion. It’s on the pricier side but 100% worth it.
Step Four: Face Hero Go-To Oil
Since my skin tends to get very dry throughout the day, I’ve recently added this face oil to the mix and it has been a game changer! It leaves zero residue, absorbs quickly and truly hydrates, revives, brightens my skin! It also helps to protect your skin against fine lines, dark spots, dryness, and the aging effects of inflammation.
The only downfall is the smell….it’s kinda old lady smelling….but it only last for like 15 seconds lol…
Step Five: Daily Moisturizer + Tanning Drops
During the day, I like to use this Olay Total Effects 7-in-1 Daily Moisturizer with SPF. I have used it for years and I just really like how light weight it is and how well it goes on underneath my makeup.
Then I like to add a few drops of this Tan Luxe Face Oil Drops to give my skin a natural looking tan and immediate glow!
You just mix the two together and apply onto your face, neck and chest! Just be sure to wash the palms of your hands after.
Step Six: Hydrating Eye Gel
After I apply my moisturizer, I will then lightly apply my this Olay Hydrating Eye Gel. It’s extremely cooling and as it says in its name, it’s super hydrating as well! At night I will use a more intense eye cream with retinol (this is the one I’m currently using) but during the day, I just want my skincare to be as light and hydrating as possible!
Step Seven: Lip Balm
Last but not least! The lip balms of all lip balms! It’s actually my nighttime lip mask, but I like to reapply a light layer of it in the mornings! Then if I am wearing lipstick that day, after 15 minutes of wearing it or so, I will lightly pat down the moisture with a cotton pad before applying any lipstick.
Any who, I hope you guys enjoyed this!
