Welcome Back Cuties!

We have 49 days to go and I finally feel like we are making some moves to prepare for Baby Boy. If you watch my IG stories, then you know that I was having a hard time last week not feeling prepared and just overall overwhelmed with the reality that he will be here before we know it but as of this week, I feel so much better. Things are slowly but surely falling into place and I just overall feel more at peace.

Since his furniture slowly but surely arriving this week, I thought I would show ya’ll his nursery design and the pieces we have ordered so far! So far it’s looking traditional, yet sleek and modern all at the same time! I kind of think it’s going to become my new favorite room 🙂

(1) Circle Mirror

This will be going above the dresser/changing table!

(2) Hatch Smart Changing Pad

We decided to go with this changing pad for multiple reasons! For one, it’s super sleek and easy to clean. Instead of having to wash a changing cover after every accident, you can easily just wipe it off! Second, this changing pad is a “smart” changing pad + scale. It pairs with your phone and tracks baby’s weight gain, feedings, diaper changes, length, and more!

(3) Dresser/Changing Table

Since Baby Boy won’t have a closet and the fact that we’re a little tight on space, I wanted to get a dresser that was big enough to hold all of his clothes + diapering accessories. We went with this one because it matches the rest of our decor while not being “too cutesy” and then I bought this hardware to replace the drawer handles with.

(4) Light Blue/Grey Area Rug

I luckily already had this rug for my office and it just happens to match perfectly!

(5) Baby Book

I saw this Baby Book at a store in Nashville while we were visiting over Thanksgiving and immediately knew I wanted to get it for Baby Boy! It’s super chic and matches perfectly with both of our wedding books since it’s from the same company.

(6) Gold Giraffe Table Lamp

The moment I saw this lamp I fell in love with it and knew it would be perfect to put on his dresser!

(7) Teddy Bear

Love, love this little classic brown bear.

(8) Snoo Bassinet

For his first six months, we decided to go with the Snoo Bassinet and then will transition him into his crib! The Snoo is the number one top-rated newborn bassinet worldwide. It helps to naturally sleep train your baby, helps to calm them down with its light rocking motion, is the only bed that prevents dangerous rolling and allows you to track your baby’s sleep patterns on your phone.

(9) Vintage Car Photography

Pretty much the only piece I haven’t bought yet and that’s mainly just because I haven’t 100% decided where I want it to go, therefore do not what size I want to buy yet! None-the-less, I love this classic vintage car print and think it would really elevate the room and give it that sleek masculine touch!

(10) Mobile

This mobile is simply adorable!

(11) Nursing Pillow

One of the top recommended products I was told was a “must-have” from almost every single new mom was a Boppy Nursing Pillow. As I looked online though, it didn’t take me long to notice that almost all of the cute ones featured at every major retailer were for girl themed nurseries and that the boy/gender-neutral ones were just kind of blah… So when I found this Gingham Boppy Cover on Etsy, I was thrilled beyond belief! It was everything I was looking for and matched our theme perfectly!

(12) Gold Floor Lamp

I already had this lamp in our second bedroom and decided to keep it in there to add more depth!
