Berry French Toast Casserole

Christmas morning french toast casserole

Merry (Almost) Christmas Ya’ll!

Something sweet to enjoy while opening gifts!

It’s super easy to make and is absolutely delicious. I recommend preparing the night before and then just popping it in the oven Christmas morning!!

Christmas French Toast Casserole

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

Slice the french bread into cubes (about 12 cubes worth) and fill your casserole dish with it.

Next, in a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and brown sugar. Evenly pour over the casserole.

Top with sliced strawberries, blueberries, or any other berries you may like! I’m thinking about adding slices of banana this year.

Cover dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours but I recommend letting it sit overnight.

Then you’re going to want to bake it at 350 for 35-45 minutes. Check on it around 35 minutes and then add on 5 minutes as needed.

Let cool and evenly dust powered sugar over the top.

Serve with maple syrup.

Enjoy!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

Lauren
