Welcome Back!
The last few weeks or so, I have been carefully curating a list of all my favorite staple fall pieces that are in my closet. Which I have to say, is a harder task than you would think!
You see, it’s narrowing down the best of the best. Picking out the few pieces I can’t live without. The ones that make up 75% of my wardrobe and that I reach for time and time again. Then it’s finding them in stock, updating links, building the collages and making sure Teddy is content at the same time of course. Needless to say, it’s taken longer than expected.
So while most influencers are already putting out content for Christmas, I’m still barely putting out fall. It’s my own fault, but I’m still going to blame it on the weather and the fact that it was still 90 degrees up until just a few days ago. My apologies to you guys though!!
In the meantime, I wanted to highlight at least five of those staples that are in my closet that I could not live without. Specifically this Trench Coat – from Amazon! Which I have to say, is pretty great. It’s from their own essentials line, the Drop and what I like about this trench, is just how lightweight and easy to throw on it is. Plus, it’s under $100, which is also really nice. I also love this trench in black.
The other staples featured are these straight leg jeans from Old Navy, this stripped sweater (seen here), these black penny loafers and Prada sunglasses (similar).
For the jeans, definitely order TTS (true-to-size) but if you order in petite, then size up! Example: I am wearing a 2R and they fit perfectly, but if I had ordered them in petite, I would have done a 4P. Hope that helps!
