Good Morning!
I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the nice weather while we had it. Our weekend was absolutely amazing! Friday we went to Lake Travis to celebrate our friends engagement, as well as photograph the whole thing! It was really sweet. Our friend who was proposing is Colton’s best friend from childhood so it was really special for Colton to be able to be apart of it.
I’m just glad we were given a few days of nice weather, because the rain is definitely back and it doesn’t look like it is going anywhere anytime soon. Which is why I thought today’s post was super appropriate. I recently bought these rain booties after months of putting it off and I’m so glad I finally did because I am absolutely obsessed with them.
I know everyone else in the world is obsessed with Hunter boots, but to be honest, I’m not a huge fan. I mean, don’t get me wrong they’re super cute, but they look terrible on me. They look incredibly cute on every person except for me. I think it’s because I am so short. I mean, they literally take up my entire leg, which means their also extremely hard for me to walk in-lol.
These booties though, are perfect. I love them because they don’t scream “It’s raining outside” but they still get the job done. I just think their extremely chic for rain boots and are even appropriate enough for work, if paired right.
When I looked the weather app last night, it basically said it’s going to be raining for the next week, so it looks like I’ll be getting a lot of use out of these booties! Any who, I hope you all have a great week. As I write this, I’m so sleepy I can barely keep my eyes open.
Have a great Monday & stay dry!
xo,
Lauren
