Oh April, you went by so fast!
I’m sure it only feels that way because we were so busy, but hey! Time flies when you’re having fun!

We started the month off, with the busiest weekend of them all. The first weekend, the Final Four was in Houston, along with the Shell Houston Open, and we decided to take part in both the activities! We went non-stop ALL weekend!
Literally, that Monday we were both incredibly exhausted -lol, but it was so worth it.

That next week, work went along as usual. I went to the opening of the Sugar and Cloth Color Wall and so much fun with a lot of the fellow Houston bloggers.
If you follow me on Snapchat, the other night I talked a little bit about how my favorite part of this whole blogging experience has been the girls I’ve met. Everyone has just been so incredibly friendly, and helpful. It has made this whole experience just that much better!

That weekend, Colton, my best friend Annie & I went to the Brenner’s On The Bayou Wine Festival and had an absolute blast. I mean, any occasion that gives me an excuse to dress up and sample wine for hours, is my kind of occasion.

That next week/weekend was super chill. Colton and I were total homebodies and watched a ridiculous amount of movies. Friday night was the only night we went out. We had a going away diner for my sweet friend Lanie at Toulouse, the newest restaurant to open at the ROD and OMG it was awesome. I may do a review on it in the near future.

Then this past weekend was my favorite of them all though! A few weeks ago, Colton’s best friend from childhood (Kevin) asked Colton and I if we would take the pictures of him proposing to his amazing girlfriend (now fiancé!) Katelyn.
Colton was SO nervous & he was only taking the pictures -ha! But they turned out great. After the engagement, we all stayed at Katelyn’s house at Lake Travis and just had so much fun. We’ve gone up there a few times with them this past year and have had a blast every single time.
In general, though, April was a GREAT month for Life to Lauren. I’m still just in awe over everything. The love, the support from you guys, and the growth has been incredible!
So thank you guys for continuing to read LtoL and supporting my blog.
May, I AM SO READY FOR YOU!
xo,
Lauren
