Happy almost-weekend guys -lol!

I don’t know about you all, but this week has been crawling for me. Especially on days like today when I am reminiscing on some of my favorite places from our trip. I just can’t help it….I miss it so much! For those of you who don’t know, we visited 10 cities and 4 countries in two weeks, which didn’t leave us a lot of time in each city. Colton’s parents thought this would be a good idea, because it would give us a chance to decide what we like, what we don’t like, and where we would come back to in the future. Which I agree, it really gave us a taste of everything!

Towards the end of the trip, we would all ask each other which city was our favorite, and I think hands down, we all agreed Lindos, Greece was on the top of everyones list.

After being in Athens for a few days (errr), I think were all ready to see Greece. You know, the Greece we all see in the movies. The beautiful water, white houses, blue window panels. Like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Greece -ha!

When we first got into Rhodes (the largest of the Greek islands) we knew we immediately wanted to make our way to the town of Lindo’s, which was an hour away. Immediately we saw people riding on ATV’s and were like “ding! ding! ding!” that’s how were getting to Lindos! So we rented three ATV’s and drove them down the coast of Greece to most beautiful town I have ever seen. It was the Greece I had been searching for.

When we got into the town, most were parked at the top of the mountain and walked down to the beaches, but we continued to ride our ATV’s down the winding roads to the bottom. We ended up a the most charming restaurant right on the beach, where they let us pull right up to park. There we had traditional Greek food & lots of wine, over looking the water before heading to the beach ourselves.

Towards the end of lunch, I became like an antsy little kid, dying to go to the water. Seriously, I don’t know what happened to me! I was just so excited to be there. This was a place I thought was only real in the movies. It was the first time I had “swam” in the Mediterranean and I was just so happy. It turned into one of those perfect days, that would have never turned out that way if it were actually planned. Does that makes sense?

I love days like that.

Have a great Thursday friends!

xo,

Lauren
