Good Morning and Happy Monday Babes! 

How was everyone’s weekend? Ours was very nice and easy going. After moving literally all last weekend, we really wanted to take this past weekend to relax and enjoy ourselves. Friday night we went out with friends for Cinco de Mayo, Saturday we spent the day by the pool and then Sunday we ran a million errands and started to unpack a little bit more. 

I wanted to share five little frivolities with you guys today because it’s the easiest way to discuss a whole bunch of random little things into one post!

Lemon Prints 

I have new obsesses with lemon prints and this Lemon Print top in today’s post  is absolutely everything. I have been keeping my eye out for something lemon print for quite some time and this J. Crew one has completely stolen my heart. For today’s look, I styled it with my favorite distressed jeans, but once the weather warms up, I’ll pair it with white denim shorts and wedges! Our New Home 

We are officially (well pretty much) all unpacked and our new place is starting to feel like home. To be completely honest, we are in love with our new space. Especially our balcony!! I have spent more time on our new balcony in the last week, than I ever did our balcony we had for almost 3 years before. It’s very open, airy and inviting. Since the weather has been so nice, Colton and I have eaten almost every meal out there. Our plan was to only be here for a year, but we are liking it so much so far that we cannot imagine leaving so soon. I can’t wait to show you guys pictures of it all! It’s all finally starting to come together, so soon to come!

Vacation Time and Building Our Calendar

The other night, Colton and I were updating our calendar, and after May, we will only have one week home every month up until the wedding. It seriously hurts my heart so much and gives me crazy anxiety because I am such a home body. Between vacations, multiple friends weddings, trips to California planning our own wedding, my bachelorette weekend and fashion week, we are seriously booked up! I don’t want to say I am complaining though, because I’m not! Just looking at it all made us go “woah”. I am super excited and thankful for this fun and busy time during out life. 

The Beach

Speaking of vacation time, your girl is craving the beach. We have our annual beach trip with Colton’s family scheduled in June and I cannot wait. I started going with Colton’s family on this trip, five years ago and I now look forward to it all year long. With it being about a month out, I have been craving all things beach attire! From beach bags, to beach towels, hats and dresses, I am loving all things summertime. 

The Whole 30 Is Coming To And End 

The Whole 30 is coming to an end this week and I am honestly having mixed emotions over it. Everyone keeps asking me, “Oh my gosh, are you SO excited?? What are you going to eat first!” and I’m kind of almost sad it is over. I have loved eating and feeling the way I have the past 30 days and I’m not ready for it to end. I’ll go ahead and let you all know that I did cheat…..a few times with the scale and once with wine… but I will explain more of that later on this week! In the mean time, I am enjoying my last few days, meal prepping away and deciding how I will incorporate everything the Whole 30 has taught me into my daily diet once it is all over.
