It’s May, and I still can’t believe how fast this year is already going by!
Seriously though, I feel like it was just February a week ago. Summertime is near and the heat will be here sooner than we think. Which, to be honest, I’m kind of super dreading – ha! If you live in Texas, then you feel my pain! There is nothing hotter than a Texas summer.
Hannah J. (my little sister) is out for summer break in two weeks and I can’t help but be super jealous. Long gone are the days of a lazy summer break for this girl! But what I would give!!
As the days get warmer, I have been switching from my normal cup of hot coffee to iced coffee. I feel like at one point in college, I really only needed one cup of coffee a day, but more recently, I have just loved my mid-afternoon iced cup. It has been giving me that extra boost that I need to help me power through the rest of my day but it doesn’t hurt that it is also kind of super refreshing.
So yeah, iced coffee has pretty much been my jam recently.
As you guys know, with the blog and my day job, I am technically working two jobs; so coffee is life for me. Especially Starbucks! Ya’ll know I love my Starbucks-lol.
Recently, I have been loving my Starbucks Bottled Iced Coffee the most. There is a Walgreens right by my apartment and one by my office, so it’s super easy for me to grab one when I am on the go. I personally love the Unsweetened one as opposed to the Sweetened. Ever since starting The Whole 30, I have really learned to love my coffee black and I love the taste of the medium roast brew! It’s super velvety and smooth and seriously so good. I like to bring one with me on my morning walks with Mister Bentley and they are so convenient to have in the fridge when I’m running (literally racing lol) out the door to head to work or a meeting.
I will admit though, when I am home, I like to pour my Starbucks Bottled Iced Coffee over ice and will add just a hint of unsweetened almond milk and cinnamon to it! It’s so yummy!
Pro Tip: Drink your iced coffee out of a straw to keep from staining your teeth! With the wedding coming up, I have even been keeping straws in my car for when I am drinking my iced coffee on the go!
Have you guys tried Starbucks Bottled Iced Coffee?? I know I can’t be the only one obsessed!
xo,
Lauren
