Everywhere I look, I have seen wrap skirts recently. Like I am not kidding you when I say they are everywhere right now and for a good reason!
They are fun, they are flirty, and they are perfect for summer.
If you live anywhere, where it gets miserably hot in the summer like I do, then you know that during the summertime, denim cut off shorts are normally life. When it is 100 degrees outside, shorts are all that I want to live in. But what about the times when it’s not quite appropriate to wear your cut offs? Well, that is where pretty little wrap skirts like this come in to play!
I wore this outfit our second day in Charleston and it was perfect for brunch and shopping! It gets pretty hot in Charleston, much like Houston, and I wasn’t totally dying of heat. Which is a win in my book! Wrap skirts like this one are perfect for every occasion you’ll have in the up coming months – trust me on this one! Then I picked up these earrings our first evening in Charleston and I kid you not – I cannot stop wearing them! They make such a statement (which I love), but most importantly, they are not super heavy. My ears are very sensitive when it comes to earrings, so I love that these are so fun and yet do not cause my little ears pain.

In other news, I’m not going to lie to you guys….. I kind of had another post for today. A really awesome post actually. I wrote it a few weeks ago when my thoughts were rolling and when I went to get it last night for today’s post – I couldn’t find it anywhere. I mean anywhere!! I’m not sure what happened to it – but my heart dropped when I couldn’t find it.
I tried to start rewriting it around 10:00 pm but my mind just wasn’t there. Which is totally fine because I would rather give you my all for that post as opposed to only remembering bits and pieces of it and trying to post it today!
Plus, this skirt from Madewell fit perfectly in with this weeks theme since I will be sharing my Charleston guide Friday! Can I have a white picket fence like this on in my future home -lol??
