Happy Friday Friends!
Oh my gosh, I cannot believe it is almost October. Like, it almost doesn’t feel real how fast this year is going by. While October is going to be a HUGE month for Colton and me, September was pretty great too! If you are new to LifetoLauren, Welcome! On the last Friday of every month, I always do a recap of my life from that month. What I wore, where I went, where I ate and more!

Breakfast at Bebidas with Colton after spin class at Equinox! Since I have been on the go so much recently, the weekends that I am home, it’s important for me to relax and do my normal weekend routine, which is always spin class and breakfast with Colton on Saturday’s! Recently, Bebidas has been on constant repeat!

That next week I left for my very first NYFW! It was a whole mix of nerves and excitement. As you guys know, I wasn’t planning on going originally because I was so worried about being stressed with the wedding but I’m really proud of myself for taking the plunge to go.
Friday morning, I started off the weekend at a Blogger Soul Cycle event! It was seriously so fun and the energy was amazing! This is Jennifer from Pretty Little Details, I had met her the night before at another event so I was so happy to walk into Soul Cycle that morning and see a friendly face.

Later that day, I started off at the Galtiscopio show, had a few meetings then made my way to Reward Style HQ for some bubbly and beautiful sites!
Btw – this floral dress is 40% off right now!

Roof Top Shenanigans with some of my favorite Houston Bloggers and others from across the country before heading to an event. This outfit was hands down my favorite outfit of the entire trip. I so obsessed with these pants and they were worth every penny.

Saturday’s outfit for more meetings, Banana Republic and a Vogue event. These white booties are hands down my newest obsession. So comfortable and so cute! White booties are really in this season and if you want to take a plunge at a new trend, then these booties are a great option!

Ain’t no party like a LiketoKnow.it party! For real though, they know how to throw a party! This event was the icing on the cake and the perfect way to end my first NYFW. First things first, this little pink dress I wore is on major sale right now! Not only is it already on sale on Shopbop, but for today only, you can get another 20% off on it with the code EOTS17. Such a steal! Second, I don’t know what I would have done without these girls that weekend. I went into Fashion Week nervous and on my own but these women saved me.
I absolutely adore my Houston girls and wouldn’t have wanted to do Fashion Week with anyone else.
Actually, that night after the party was my favorite and most memorable part of the trip. Kaylee from DoubleShotof Sass and Tayler from Tayler Mallot are two of my most favorite people in the whole world. It’s really sad because their first night was my last night there but I was seriously so happy to see them when they walked into LiketoKnow.it. Anyways, we were starving after so we jumped in a cab and headed to Soho for a late dinner. I honestly don’t even know where we went, but it was so nice and chic. We had wine, split a few appetizers and then decided to keep the night going. I kid you not, I swear we stayed out until almost 4:00 am just talking and laughing. It was one of the best nights I have had in a long time.

Then a few hours later from getting home from the bars, I woke up, still slightly intoxicated might I add, packed my things and headed to the airport!
I picked up this top right before heading out for the trip and it is hands down my favorite sweater I have bought this season. I will share it full styled next week!

That next weekend was my Bridal Shower! You can read the full post on my shower here! The moment I saw this dress a few weeks ago, I knew I wanted to wear it for my shower! It was so cute that I almost wish I would have saved it for my rehearsal dinner! Like I mentioned above, you can get it on major sale here, but a lot of sizes are running out, so I found more here. Also, it is pretty true to size, but if you are small chested like I am then sixe down.
I had to share this pic because I didn’t yesterday and it was one of my favorite moments from my shower. After the shower was over, we left all of the furniture outside, brought out some red wine and a cheese board and had the best evening. It was me, a few of my bridesmaids, my mom, my aunt and Laurel’s mom. We laughed and we shared the funniest stories from our high school days. It was an evening I will seriously never forget.

Colton and I at our Couple’s Shower the very next day. I’m telling you, it was a shower filled weekend lol! This shower was so different from the one before but equally as fun! Since it was a couples shower, all of Colton’s friends were there and I was able to see a lot of people that I didn’t see the day before! Plus, the ladies who hosted did a beautiful job!
This dress was perfect for the event and if you have a shower coming up, I highly recommend it! It is under $100 and is literally so comfortable! Today you can get it for 20% off on Shopbop with code EOTS17!

My #ootn for Colton’s Birthday dinner at Steak 48 with his parents! This dress may quite possibly be my new favorite dress. It fits seriously so well. I think it may have sold out this week, but this one and this one are almost identical!
You can see my whole post here!

Then last but not least, or last weekend of September was very low-key, which is what I really needed!
I went to spin, Colton and I went breakfast at Barnaby’s and we just hung out. I did wear this outfit to our sweet friends Birthday Dinner though! This top is currently on major sale for under $30 and is so incredibly flattering! A staple piece for sure!
This weekend I am hoping will be low-key and chill but for some reason, I do not see that happening. We have friends in from out of town, my Mom’s big Birthday Party is this Saturday and I have a lot to do for the wedding!
I hope you all have a great weekend! October, ready or not, here I come!
xo,
Lauren
