Happy Friday Loves! We made it to the weekend again!
Colton and I are officially back from our trip and I’m not going to lie…. it feels so good to be home. It was hands down one of the most fun/amazing trips Colton and I have ever been on, but towards the end, we were getting super tired and anxious to be home. We wanted nothing more than to be home and in our bed, snuggling with a Mister Bentley.
While we were in Paris, I kid you not, I wore this outfit almost every night. Okay, maybe not every night. But I did wear it at least twice. It was the only skirt I really brought on the trip, the outfit was cute and I felt really put together in it! My Valentino’s weren’t exactly my shoe of choice to be walking around Paris in (I didn’t want to somehow ruin them), but they looked so cute and are surprisingly comfortable so I tried not to care! It was the perfect date night outfit for the season. If it is really cold where you live, add tights and a coat to keep you warm! I wore my Burberry Trench with it.
Also, since I get a lot of questions concerning my Valentino’s, so below I am answering a few of them!
Which exact ones do you own and why did you pick them?
I bought the Valentino Patent Leather Rockstud Slingbacks in the color Poudre (blush) Patent and a 4.25″ heel height . I knew going in, that was the style that I wanted but I was perplexed on the color. After trying on the white, blush, and black, I chose the blush because I knew that it would go with the most outfits! Plus, I think it’s the most classic. You can find them here.
Are they comfortable?
Surprisingly, yes! The first day I wore them, Colton and I ended up walking I swear over a mile in New York. I mean, we walked far and I didn’t get one blister. Plus, they are just high enough. The first real designer shoes I ever bought were my Louobtin ‘So Kates’ and they are hands down the most uncomfortable shoe I own. They make your legs look fabulous but are very hard to walk in. I was worried the Valentino’s would be the same way but I was totally wrong! They are the best.
I think this answer purely depends on the person and the lifestyle.
Do they run Small//Large//or TTS
I personally think they run true to size (tts). Some say they run small and to always size up but I am a hard size 7 when it comes to shoes and the 37 (which is a size 7) is perfect for me.
Would you buy another pair?
Yes, but not for awhile. I mean, they are really expensive (lol). I’m happy with the pair I own and if in the future I have the opportunity to get another pair, I definitely will, but in the mean time I have other things on my wishlist!

Ours will pretty much consist of watching the Astros all weekend lol. It’s a really awesome time to be in Houston right now. Everyone is so excited and there is just such good energy throughout the city! I’m just so happy we came home in time to watch our team!
