Happy Monday Cuties!
My goodness does it feel so good to be back. Our trip to Florida last week was absolutely amazing and seriously so much fun, but there is no better feeling than coming home after a long trip and sleeping in your own bed. Plus….we really missed a Mister Bentley! Next year, I think we are going to really try and talk his parents into letting us bring him – lol.
It also feels good to be back on here, posting on ze blog, on my normal schedule and answering all of my emails. I don’t know how to explain it, but when I don’t post M-F, I feel like I’m back in school forgetting to turn in my homework – lol. Like you guys are my teachers and I have to have a really good explanation as to why I wasn’t here haha.
I will be posting a whole recap of our trip on Wednesday but wanted to go ahead and post this look today! Before I get into this, my apologies for the not-so high quality photos! We forgot our camera for the trip….. it’s a long story and I was not a happy camper (lol)…we packed the charger, bought extra sim cards and the whole nine yards….then realized the actual camera was left at home as we were boarding the plane.
So thank the Lord for technology, iPhones & portrait mode -ha!
Anyways, I picked up this dress from Planet Blue in Houston right before heading out of town! If I am ever in a pickle and need a cute outfit for a vacation or event, I know that I can always rely on Planet Blue to have something for me! I wore this dress to Colton’s Dads Birthday Dinner followed by the Dueling Piano Bar at Rum Runners in Baytown Warf. It’s seriously so fun and we always go at least once while we are there!
I love this dress for the summertime because (1) it’s super light weight (2) it’s extremely flattering (I keep referring to it as my skinny dress – lol) (3) it’s really comfortable (4) the shade of blue and white polkadots just scream summertime!
This dress would also be perfect for the Fourth of July!
Speaking of the Fourth of July…..
I have a ton of Fourth of July content coming your way this week! So get ready for that!! Then I’ll also be doing a Destin recap and a Health/Fitness Post Too!
