Welcome to the very first Workwear Wednesday Babes!!!
I’m really excited to bring this new section of LtoL to you guys. Workwear is hands down the number one request I get and I heard you all loud and clear.
Before taking the blog full-time and back when SnapChat was still a thing (#ripsnapchat), I used to share my office #ootd every morning with you all. It was an easy way to share some quick office outfit inspiration and y’all loved it. Even though there was no “tagging an outfit” at that time, I still enjoyed sharing it with you all. Since I started working from home though, I rarely get to wear my former “workwear” clothes and I’ll be honest… I miss it. Most of my days are spent in workout clothes, athleisure wear or jeans and a tank.
Aka – nothing you guys can actually wear every day.
Which may be fine for those of you all who are still in college (#jealous) but like, I know the rest of you guys can’t wear any of that to work – lol.
So I am here to start bringing Workwear Wednesday to you all! I don’t know if I will have a blog post for workwear every Wednesday, but my goal is to at least do an Instagram!
This is really a win for me as well because, sometimes, working from home can really get to me… so my goal is to get out of my home office every Wednesday, put on my beloved workwear and go someplace to work for the day. Snap a photo and share it with you all!
Literally a win-win.
Some of my favorite places to shop for Workwear are at Nordstrom’s, Banana Republic, J. Crew, and Loft!
This outfit from today’s post is mainly from Nordstrom’s and I’m obsessed with just how “on trend” it is!
I’m a sucker for wide leg pants, so I was already drawn to these pants because of that, but they are also super comfortable, lightweight and I love how perfect the color is for fall. Then I’m obsessed with this blouse because leopard print is a huge trend this season! I’m also a fan of it because it covers your shoulders, which definitely makes it work appropriate! I paired it with a black tote because a big work tote is a necessity and these nude pumps! They are definitely a splurge but these are identical for under $100!
I’ll be wearing it today in my efforts to work outside of the home, as well as to lunch with the girls! I may even wear it to an event I have tonight because it’s definitely the perfect look to take from day-to-night! It all depends on if I can go home first… we’ll see!
