I truly hope you all had the most wonderful Christmas.
I feel like it has been forever since I have been on here and I guess that’s because it literally has been. The Holiday season was nuts for us and even though I am still recovering from the madness, it was one of my most favorite Christmas’s to date!
Not only because it was out first Christmas together as Husband and Wife, but because everything just really worked out this year. There was no drama throughout the whole season, everyone’s schedules aligned, we were able to see so many of our best friends who were in town for the Holidays and were also able to spend a lot of time with each other.
Christmas Eve, we had the annual Christmas Eve Dinner with Colton’s whole family at his parents house, which is my favorite traditions his family has! His mom makes this traditional spaghetti from a recipe that has been passed down through through generations (It’s really cute, his Papo always has to test the pasta right before it’s served to make sure it’s perfect -lol!) and the whole evening is spent around the table drinking wine and sharing stories. Christmas morning we slept in a bit, relaxed, drank coffee and did Christmas between the three of us (myself, colton, & a mister bentley). We then drove out to my moms for brunch, spent a few hours with her and my grandmother and then made our way to Colton’s families again for an early Christmas Dinner.
It sounds like a lot, but it really wasn’t bad and I was happy that we were able to really spend time with both of our families on Christmas Day and see everyone throughout the whole Holiday season!
I feel like the past few weeks have been so pushy in regards to telling ya’ll to constantly buy, buy, buy for Christmas….so I didn’t want to overwhelm ya’ll with the after Christmas sales, but there are some really great ones that I felt like I should just mention incase you’re on the lookout!
