Hey girl, hey!!
If you remember, I went on a girls trip to LA a few weekends ago to visit one of my friends for her birthday!
This was my second time to LA and this trip was completely different from my first. Colton and I went a year ago and really had a great time doing a lot of touristy things. This time around was filled with lots of mimosas, patios & dancing.
We seriously had the best weekend, and went to some of the coolest place. So of course I have to share!
&&& I’ve tagged all of the restaurants and places we went, so that way next time you make your way to LA you can use this as a reference.
Side note: I don’t have as many pictures of the trip as I would like to have, but when you’re having fun, you’re having fun! And in times like those, you forget all about your silly phone. But I hope this is a nice reference for you guys anyways!

Kick starting the weekend festivities in Santa Monica for a 4 hour, bottomless mimosas filled lunch at Areal. On the weekends bottomless mimosas are $15, at this sweet little patio restaurant. It was seriously the cutest little place.
A few snaps of after lunch shopping and hanging out at the Santa Monica pier.

That night, before heading out to Bootsy Bellows, we went to Frida’s Mexica Cuisine in Beverly Hills for some margaritas! I might have had the most refreshing margarita ever here (fresh lime juice, muddled blueberries, tequila and ginger – no agave!!) but it was also the worst service I have ever had haha. None-the-less, we still had a great time!
Cool place, terrible service, the decision is yours.
***Note, they do not split checks.
The next morning we went to the Dry Bar for blowouts and grabbed some green smoothies at Kreation Juice on the way. If you’re looking for a place to get some serious nutrients back in your body after a long night, then Kreation could be your place!

After our blowouts, we headed to downtown Perch LA, for a late lunch.
&&& let me tell you. This might have been one of the most breathtakingly beautiful restaurants I have ever been too!
The restaurant is at the top of a building downtown and overlooks all of LA. It’s the perfect place to lounge all day while drinking, eating, and listening to live music. Then after you’re done, you can head to the rooftop bar where there are ever more amazing views. I mean it was absolutely my favorite part of the trip. Hence why I shared so many pictures of it lol.
Next time your in LA, Perch is a must.

That night we headed to 1OAK for some dancing 🙂
Our last day was a little gloomier outside than the rest. &&& super chilly! But it was okay because we were all a little exhausted to say the least! We headed to Santa Monica for a quick bite & a little lounging at The Bungalow before heading home.
Next time I’m in Santa Monica, I definitely want to be able to spend more time at the Bungalow because it was sooo cool! Trust me, click on the link and you will see! I would have taken more pictures of it, but it was packed and I felt really awkward lol.
So that was our trip!:)
xo,
Lauren
