Hi guys! Wow, welcome back!
I know I technically posted yesterday, but I feel like I didn’t really get to talk to you!!
If you follow me on any sort of social media, then you know that Colton and I spent Labor Day weekend in Napa Valley. Why we were there, I’ll have to save for another post this week, but until then, I’ll let you fill in the blanks 🙂
None-the-less, this past weekend was the best weekend ever and I am really sad it is over. The weather was absolutely perfect, the wine was great and it was just so incredibly romantic. In all honestly though, I think the weather is what I am going to miss the most. I mean, of course I’ll miss the wine & it just being Colton and I – lol, but the weather was so unbelievable. I’m talking no humidity, and like 56 – 85 degrees everyday. Is that dreamy or what?? If you live in Houston (or Texas in general!), then you know how amazing that sounds! These photos were taken Sunday morning while wandering through their downtown area. It actually felt like fall, so I was definitely soaking it all in! This sleeveless sweater and silk scarf combo will definitely be on repeat all fall. Then I picked up these booties right before I left and wore them whole time I was there. They have officially become my new favorite bootie. My advice is to go up one size though!
Last week, I asked you guys to take this questionnaire (not too late to take!), and everyones answers were so awesome! Thank you so much to everyone who took it! You have no idea how much it helped me. I just love hearing from you all and hearing specifically what you want to see on ze blog. A lot of you guys want to hear a lot about our wedding planning, fall looks for a better price, fitness, and healthy fall recipes. I literally wrote down each answer – lol. I’m that weird person that writes everything down. It drives Colton insane because he thinks I should just start an Excel document….but that’s soooo not me. I enjoy physically writing everything down.
Any who, I hope that you all have a great week! I’m pretty excited that it is once again, a short week. For anyone wondering, I will not be going to NYFW this week. I would have loved to have gone, but between work and our last minute trip to Napa, I just couldn’t make it work. So it looks like I will just have to wait until the spring to go!:)
xo,
Lauren
